Abstract

The purpose of this study was to formulate a new series of laboratory exercises to be taught in Biology 1130 at the University of Tennessee at Martin and to determine whether or not this new laboratory program was superior to the laboratory program which was currently being used. The control group consisted of 55 students who were taught by the traditional set of laboratory exercises. The experimental group consisted of 24 student who were taught using the newly formulated series of laboratory exercises. [continues]
