Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the role and function of student personnel services in several community colleges in Tennessee and after determining what the role and functions are, to determine what students believe they need from student personnel service. By comparing student beliefs with counselor beliefs, the best possible program for student personnel service was to be determined. [continues]
