Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate the knowledge and attitudes of teachers in kindergarten through second grade. This was done to determine the amount of knowledge teachers possess about different types of handicapping conditions and the laws passed concerning education of handicapped children. Six-hundred questionnaires were mailed to 47 schools in Northwest Tennessee. There were 297 usable questionnaires returned from 41 schools. [continues]
