Abstract

The purpose of this study was to ascertain attitudes of students toward the counseling process differentiated by vocational preference, race, and sex of a sample of high school juniors from the nine county area of northwest Tennessee. It was also desired to determine whether or not satisfaction with the counseling process was a factor in the student's attitude toward the process. A further objective was to determine those problem areas in which students desire assistance from guidance services. [continues]
