Abstract
It was the purpose of this study to deal with the following questions concerning apportionment relative to boards of education within Tennessee: (1) What is the history of apportionment and how is it relative to the society of today? (2) What are the court cases significant to reapportionment, and how are they relative to the establishing of boards of education? (3) What legislation has been enacted by the Tennessee State Legislature governing the establishment of boards of education relative to apportionment? [continues]
