Abstract

The purpose of this study was to (1) show whether a correleation exists between chronological age and reading achievement of pupils now in grade four, (2) show whether a similar correlation exists for boys separately, (3) show whether a similar correlation exists for girls separately, and (4) study the weaknesses in reading skills of the youngest twenty-five percent of the total group.
